I heard her again yesterday. For the first time in weeks. She was singing a sweet melody in my room. At first I ignored it, thinking it was my t.v. but then I realized that the t.v. wasn’t on. No one was home and I was fully aware that what I was hearing was actually real.
A moment later, rustling noises came from my closet and then a BOOM.
I didn’t inspect.
I didn’t care to.
Not today.
